NEW* Kimpton Claret Hotel at Belleview Station - Denver, CO Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts' Luxury & Lifestyle Collection, is seeking a dynamic leader to join the new Kimpton Claret Hotel as Revenue Manager. Kimpton Claret Hotel will be a new-build boutique hotel featuring 190 beautifullly appointed guestrooms, including 14 suites. It wouldn't be a Kimpton without a jaw-dropping restaurant and bar experiences as well - accompanying a ground-floor restaurant and bar that will surely become a sought-after local gathering place, the 19th floor rooftop bar and lounge will serve as a music venue and offer indoor and outdoor access to expansive views of the Rocky Mountains, with specific sightlines from Pikes Peak to Longs Peak. Those conducting business of convening for celebration will be able to do so in style thanks to the property's 7,000 square feet of meetings and events space. What You'll DoResponsible for development, execution, and measurement of strategic and tactical yield and inventory management to maximize rooms revenue via major distribution channels, including the GDS, Central and on-property reservations, website, and third party internet sites. Support the General Manager and the Sales Team by providing pertinent information and tools to enhance the property's sales and marketing efforts and decision making processes. Identify, communicate, and execute opportunities to increase incremental revenue. With assistance from the Director of Sales, provide short-term and long-term rooms revenue projections including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and full-year projections. Some of your responsibilities include:Communicate sell strategies with sales and operations team. Monitor and evaluate market demand trends, including surveying the competitors strategies. Conduct weekly yield meetings. Attend Sales and Marketing meetings and offer input. Provide statistical information to executive team members. Complete and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports as requested. Hire, train, and supervise reservation employees and daily operations. Maintain and enhance client-vendor, travel agencies, and consumer relationships. Set and ensure accurate rate (SRP) loads. Monitor and evaluate CRO-Pegasus performance on a weekly and monthly basis, including Central Agents performance, i.e. conversion, regret, denial (statistics), etc. Provide reports measuring results of the hotel Sales and Marketing efforts and interpret as needed. Ensure all reservations are entered in a timely and accurate manner. Set appropriate and congruent pricing among all market segments and distribution channels. What You BringBachelor's Degree is preferred. 3 years' experience in Reservations, Revenue, Sales and Marketing, Guest Services, Front Desk, or other similar role required. Knowledge of the GDS, internet distribution channels (business models and operations), Microsoft Office Suite. Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and mathematical skills. Previous Revenue Management in Hotels is preferred. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To achieve success in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to use a keyboard, sit, see, hear, write, and speak. The employee is frequently required to handle (hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with the hand or hands), finger (picking, pinching, fine manipulation), and dial. The employee is occasionally required to collate/file, stand, and walk. The employee is minimally required to bend, crouch, kneel, squat, climb ladders and stairs, balance, reach, twist, stretch, push, and pull. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10lbs, occasionally lift and/or move 25-50lbs, and minimally lift and/or move up to 75lbs. Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to produce detailed work, use reasoning skills, verbal and written communication, have customer contact, handle multiple concurrent tasks and constant interruptions. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future. The annual salary for this role is $95,000-$100,000. This job is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
