UICGS and Bowhead Family of Companies is Hiring a Hazmat Coordinator Near Crane, IN
Bowhead is seeking a Logistician with HAZMAT experience to join our F3500 contract at Crane, IN.
ResponsibilitiesDuties will include, but not be limited to:
- Supply chain and inventory management of HAZMAT supplies in accordance with current guidelines
- Perform periodic and scheduled inventories to ensure material identification research and validation for all acquisition and inventory records are up to date and accurate
- Maintenance of all required SDS documentation while ensuring all HAZMAT materials are stored per guidelines and maintaining compliance.
- Conduct research and present findings to ensure all material, equipment, radar systems and components, microwave and solid state devices identification is accurate and complies with processes for all assets, equipment, HAZMAT, etc.
- Track, maintain and update the Logistics Information Systems which include, but are not limited to, IHS Haystack, SharePoint, WebFlis
- Bachelor's degree or two (2) to five (5) years of experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management and HAZMAT desired
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
