Bowhead is seeks Proposal Consultants to assist with the capture and proposal development for the Science & Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) effort at NSWC Crane, IN.
This position is on-call and part time in nature.
ResponsibilitiesJob duties will include:
- Assisting in providing data and information pertaining to the RFP provided.
- Writing technical documents that are accurate and adhere to the RFP.
- Assist in writing naratives and reviewing draft and final documents for technical accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Education is required however, a Master's degree is preferred
- Must be a Licensed teacher with an active certificate from the State of Indiana
- Must have prior experience with the STEM contract, teaching and NSWC Crane in general
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
