We are very excited to be partnering with this extremely mission driven organization in search of it's next Collections Manager.

The primary function of this role is to support in fulfilling its mission to help members achieve financial success through exceptional personalized service. The Collections Manager ensures outstanding service is provided to both internal and external members, while managing and coordinating loan preparations for final closing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding service, adhering to the credit union’s Service Promises.
• Meet service and sales expectations.
• Maintain and demonstrate strong product and regulatory knowledge.
• Manage repossessions and ensure proper member notifications.
• Identify loans for charge-off and prepare monthly reports for the Board.
• Analyze and report portfolio trends to senior management.
• Conduct meetings with branch managers to review and improve collections.
• Develop and monitor collections procedures.
• Train staff on collection practices and communication scripts.
• Lead brainstorming sessions for process improvements.
• Assist with monitoring delinquent loans and follow up on high-profile accounts.
• Prepare recommendations for payment plans and loan modifications.
• Coordinate with external agencies to protect the credit union’s interests.
• Handle asset recovery and recommend further collection actions.
• Oversee judgments, garnishments, and levies.
• Manage the credit dispute process and update relevant systems.
• Execute right of offset and account adjustments as needed.
• Perform collections work with professionalism, tact, and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Language Ability: Proficient in reading and interpreting business materials and effectively presenting information.
• Math Ability: Skilled in applying mathematical concepts to practical situations.
• Reasoning Ability: Capable of solving problems with limited standardization and interpreting various instructions.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software.

Education/Experience:

• Associate’s degree and three or more years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
