Tiello has partnered with a leading Heavy Civil Contractor who is looking for a Utility Superintendent in North Carolina who focuses on Commercial/Residnetial Sitework as well as Roadway projects valued up to $25MM in project value in the North Carolina area.

Title: Utility Superintendent (Commercial/Residential Sitework and Roadway)

Project Types: Commercial/Residential Sitework and Roadway

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on utility systems and equipment
• Assist with Sitework and Heavy Civil construction projects and have knowledge in all water, sewer, and storm installation.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues or hazards
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
• Assist with the coordination of utility projects and construction activities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in utility installation or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
• Knowledge of construction management principles and practices
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to supervise and coordinate work activities
• Experience with construction estimating, budgeting, and contract administration is a plus
• Proficiency in software such as Prolog, Primavera, or similar construction management tools is desirable
