Accounting Associate - Entry Level
Charlotte Corporate headquarters is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their accounting team. This opportunity will allow diversity and growth! You will be supporting the accounting functions and working closing with the Senior Accountant and Controller. Great benefits including profit sharing and 401K. Salary up to $65K
Responsibilities of the Accounting Associate Include:
- Assist with the month-end closing of the general ledger, including standard journal entries.
- Act as the Fixed Assets Administrator, encompassing complete accountability for Oracle Project Accounting and monitoring project statuses.
- Handle daily invoice runs, distribution of invoice copies to customers, and investigate any invoices that seem to be incorrect.
- Oversee the processing of new card applications and terminations, aid users with expense reports, and conduct audits of expenses according to the Travel & Expense (T&E) policy.
- Manage vendors currently receiving payments by check to enroll in ACH (Automated Clearing House) payment methods.
- Prepare deposits for checks
- Submit the sales & use tax returns.
Requirements of the Accounting Associate Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Oracle knowledge is beneficial
- Excel advanced skills
- Great Communicaton skills both written and verbal
