Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining vendor relationships. This is a vital role within our organization, and we are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, has strong attention to detail, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Prepare and process weekly check runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status or invoice issues
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding of expenses
- Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role (2-3 years)
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and procedures
- Proficient in using Excel
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with Software' (Aderant Expert or Concur) preferred
- Quick learner, ability to learn applications efficiently
- Previous experience in a service industry preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills - Computer Skills; Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
