Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements in accordance with GAAP and non-profit accounting standards.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide support for grant reporting and compliance.
- Maintain fixed asset records and assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
- Collaborate with program managers and other departments to provide financial analysis and support as needed.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices relevant to non-profit organizations.
