Excelsior Care Group is Hiring a Cook Near Bronx, NY
We are looking for a Per-Diem Cook to prepare wholesome, nutritious meals for our residents.
Salary: $22 per hour
Responsibilities
- Prepares resident and staff meals according to recipes, production sheets and meal-time schedule.
- Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation and storage.
- Maintains temperature logs.
- Assist in maintaining work area in a clean and organized manner.
- One year experience cooking in skilled nursing facility or hospital.
- Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
- Knowledge of cooking equipment and various cooking methods.
- Knowledge of therapeutic and altered texture diets.
