Description
At Wilson-McShane we administer benefits for hardworking individuals in various trade unions. As an Office Support Specialist, you will be providing support to the office operations by assisting with faxing, copying, filing, imaging etc. You will also be answering incoming calls 50% of the day (up to 75% as needed), determining how best to assist the member, and transferring the call to the appropriate department when necessary. This provides the opportunity for our Office Support Specialists to provide back-up to the front desk and to learn about all departments in the organization in order to get the members in touch with the appropriate department as quickly as possible.
There is also the opportunity to assist with data, spreadsheets and interoffice projects and documentation such as paper and electronic media. Our Office Support Specialists are critical to ensure that our member’s receive the service excellence they deserve!
The schedule for this role is 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday with a 1-hour lunch. This is a non-exempt position and includes benefits such as the following:
