The Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the product vision, roadmap, and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric software solutions and meet business objectives. Requires familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices, service-oriented architecture, and product analytics.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Develop technical product vision and strategy by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Define and prioritize the technical product roadmap by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, architecture, UX, and other product managers. Guide product development by defining and communicating detailed software product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure technical product viability, desirability, and alignment with business goals by establishing success criteria and monitoring product performance. Work closely with Architecture and Engineering on technical design and to identify and manage critical dependencies. Support trade-off discussions, negotiations, and alignment on feature prioritization, technical solutions, and timing with stakeholders.Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience throughout the product lifecycle. Participate in sprint planning and support feature refinement, addressing questions and providing guidance as needed. Act as a subject matter expert and acknowledged authority within the organization for assigned product(s) or product line(s). This career step is assigned complex products or product lines.Experience managing complex or high-priority technical products, and may have more influence on strategic decisions related to the product. Writes user stories and sets the product direction at the team level; OR writes features and sets the direction for a group of teams; OR writes epics and sets the direction for multiple groups of teams.Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View Executes on product plans that grow customer engagement, improve customer experience and drive relevance Reviews business requirements and business case to prioritize cross scrum team work Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in self-care customer communications and management Works in an Agile environment to refine business requirements work with architects to define and lay out system interfaces and data flows, prioritizes work for multiple scrum teams Analyze & Monitors product for all defined KPIs to ensure best-in-class customer experience. Works with business partners to balance business & technical objectives and technology partners to deliver the product that meets reliability, scalability, and performance goals Implement best practices is self-care, self-install management realm Acts as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across teams and various channelsQualifications Bachelor's degree in Product development, Industrial or System Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related fields 7 years of product owner experience and/or data Analytics with proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycleo Experience within high tech, software and/or broadband wireline/wireless/telecom industry highly desired Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development, and customer communications such as email, SMS and push notification Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert consumer insights and performance data into high impact product initiatives Experience working within scaled agile development team Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders Technical skills would include: Jira, Jira Align, Scaled Agile Framework and related tools like Azure Dev Ops. Working experience with data analytics like Tableau, PowerBI or related tools and technologies is a plus.Our Lead Tech Product Manager earns between $128,400.00-$192,600.00., Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
