Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: Alexandria, VA
Terms: Temporary
Clearance: Active Public Trust Clearances Only
Description RIVA is seeking an onsite temporary Accounting Clerk for 3 months in support of our customer the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Requirements
- Ability to review source documents, extract relevant data and promptly scan documents into an automated system- FPP, in accordance with specified procedures and standards.
- Ability to research and resolve documents that have problems scanning into FPP.
- Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with the use of computers and automated systems, electronic documents that comes by fax, email.
- Skill in communicating and dealing with people in a courteous and tactful manner.
- Works and interacts professionally and effectively with all levels of staff.
- Ability to meet established deadlines and work as a team player in a professional office.
- Prepare, files and maintain supporting documentation as required
- Print faxes from Rightfax and scan documents into FPP for RAD and all other program areas outside of RAD.
- Scan documents into FPP for daily work for deposit account replenishments, maintenance fees payments, entities, fee address and refunds for RAD and other program areas
