Accounts Receivable Specialist
Role:
Responsible for Accounts Receivable, Petty Cash, Gift Cards, posting deposits, reconciliations and report compilation. Supports the Accounting department as needed.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
Bills DCF, Kaw Valley, St Francis, Harvey County United Way and all other contract agencies for days of care and all miscellaneous items reimbursed for clothing and UA’s etc.
Communicates with DCF, Kaw Valley, St Francis and all other contractors for payments and reports
Monitors unpaid bills of all resident care days and re-bills if required
Prepare and submits DCF cost reports
Post all payments in A/R
Reconcile all the A/R accounts monthly/quarterly
Financial
Distribute and track Petty Cash and Gift Cards
Post General Journals for Month end process
Deposits posted in Sage and taken to the bank
Monthly excel reports for restricted funds and other misc. reports for reconciling
Reconcile Development contributions with the general ledger monthly
Assist with compiling and development of periodic and year end statistics and reports
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One-year related experience
Education: HS diploma/GED required. Some college preferred, Business/Accounting Courses preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to interact well with co-workers and providers. Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
