Syndeo Staffing is looking for a talented and experienced Accountant to join a local hotel group's finance team. As an Accountant on our client’s team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting business growth by entering and providing timely and accurate financial information.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review and analyze financial data and reports to ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
• Assist with external audits, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance as necessary.
• Stay updated with industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices to maintain professional expertise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and demonstrate high levels of integrity and professionalism.
