NEI Electric is Hiring a Service Manager Near White, MN

NEI Electric is an electrical contracting company based in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. NEI Electric is dedicated to providing their customers with personalized service and quality craftsmanship. Their customers include a wide range of local businesses, including healthcare, retail, industrial, food processing, education, religious and residential.

NEI Electric is seeking a Service Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.

The primary functions of this role include but are not limited to coordinating service requests for multiple locations in the Twin Cities and Western WI while providing 24x7 coverage of the service department.

Essential Functions:

  • Prompt and courteous response to all customer calls
  • Growing and maintaining customer accounts
  • Provide information about the products and services
  • Create electronic work orders and identify urgency and priority of service calls
  • Coordinate equipment, tools or subcontractors as required
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
  • Timely completion and billing of work orders with accurate costs
  • Assist sales staff and service techs in compiling quotes for customers while recognizing opportunities to provide additional services
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions

Required Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge in the electrical field or similar trade required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Detail-oriented and will follow tasks through to completion
  • Ability to schedule technicians via multiple formats (outlook calendars, email, ComputerEase) and dispatch work orders via phone, text, and email
  • Ability to cover emergency calls for multiple locations with company provided phone 24x7 and react as necessary to emergency calls – particularly for existing clients (with additional compensation)
  • This role requires a flexible, professional team player with a positive, energetic personality and work ethic to meet the needs of this client-driven business
  • This person must be someone with a learning mindset, willing to adapt and grow within the role and with the company

Pay:

  • $75,000-95,000
