Prescott HR is Hiring a Medical Administrative Coordinator Near Westminster, MD

Job Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the medical care center(s). Creates and monitors the infrastructure necessary for the continued success and growth of 7 medical centers. This position requires the incumbent to analyze business objectives and develop equitable and comprehensive strategies to achieve them.
Primary Job Duties:
  • Develop, monitor, and facilitate the completion of department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with business unit policies, procedures, and governmental and accreditation regulations.
  • Develop and monitor the department operating budget and manage resources to the approved budget.
  • Develop standards of performance, evaluate employee performance, and conduct performance management planning.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with subordinates to review programs, provide feedback, discuss new developments, and exchange relevant information.
  • Participate in committee meetings as well as represent the company in community outreach efforts.
  • Work closely with Physicians and Billing on coding guidelines, ensuring all industry requirements are met and maintained.
  • Manage the work of Supervisors and Managers.
  • Serves as executive support to the CEO.
  • Managing, reviewing, and updating of contracts, leases, office systems, technology, and other agreements; overseeing purchase of equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure training of staff and compliance as needed.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements: create project budgets and provide input as required.
  • Works directly with HR for any employee-related issues, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits-related inquiries.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Master of Health Administration and/or MBA required.
Licenses/Certifications:
BLS certified.
Experience:
  • Minimum of five-seven years of related experience, preferably in a medical care environment.
  • Two-four years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Training in HIPAA, medical coding, and other clinical/administrative issues is highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), time management, and organization skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage escalating customer issues.
  • Ability to supervise, train and evaluate new and current staff.
