The Cost Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- General ledger maintenance and reconciliation
- Financial reporting and variance analysis
- Inventory analysis and cost rollup
- Standard costing
- Expedited month end close
- U.S. GAAP
- Inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable subledgers
- Complex accruals and month end estimates
- Journal entry calculation and entry
- Year end audit and tax preparation
- Payroll and fringe reporting
- Process improvement
- Budget assistance
- Bank account maintenance and reconciliation
Requirements for the Cost Accountant include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing accounting experience
- Strong cost accounting and inventory knowledge
