Job Description:

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing commercial construction projects within the Rio Grande Valley region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction management and be willing to travel to various project sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
• Manage project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction supervision or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, processes, and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the Rio Grande Valley area as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
