What You'll Do:

  • Working as part of the Corporate Finance and Accounting team, you will provide routine accounting services for Insource. Among your responsibilities will be processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements and cash receipts using QuickBooks Online and other software packages, participating in payroll review and maintaining ADP employee profiles, assisting in credit card receipts collections and reconciliations, maintaining timekeeping software updates, and client collections and communication.
  • On a monthly basis, reconcile bank items, job cost, department and general ledger accounts, prepare and enter journal entries, maintain electronic/paper files and prepare draft financial and management reports
  • On an annual basis, assist with gathering data for end of year close, preparing 1099s and other tax filings, as well as other regulatory filings
  • On an ongoing basis, work with Insource staff to regularly upgrade and improve operating procedures and regularly document the changes
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and track the status of tasks using project management software
  • Travel to the Insource office for meetings and onsite processing as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven adeptness at detail work and experience managing multiple priorities
  • High level of self-motivation with an ability to work independently
  • Diplomatic, patient, curious, with a great sense of humor
  • Undergraduate degree preferred and/or relevant experience
  • Enthusiastic about accounting in a professional services firm with timekeeping requirements
  • Confidentiality and discretion to sensitive matters
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and oral
  • Experience with general bookkeeping
  • Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
