As an Installation Technician on our VDOT contract, your primary job is to assess, program, install, troubleshoot, maintain, remove, and service two-way mobile radios, repeaters, tablets, wireless modems, speakers, lights, sirens, center consoles, antennas, other accessories, and all necessary wiring into customer vehicles.
These vehicles include police cruisers, K-9 vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, public works plow trucks, school buses, tow trucks and an array of other commercial vehicles.
You will be responsible for exceeding our customers' expectations and fulfilling our company's needs. Our Installation Technicians are directly responsible for keeping our communities' public safety, education, and public works departments communicating.
