Accounting Manager

Position Summary:
As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the accounting department's operations, reporting directly to the Controller. Your role extends beyond management, serving as a consultant to other managers within the company, providing budgetary insights, and aligning fiscal strategies with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and general accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Oversee the corporate accounting department to ensure timely dissemination of financial reports, including monthly statements and annual audits.
- Calculate and distribute financial distributions to partners accurately.
- Provide accurate and timely support to the Controller and VP of Finance as required.
- Engage in various special projects and compile specialized reports as needed.
- Maintain professional communication with colleagues, management, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Offer fiscal procedure advice and guidance to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Five to seven years of accounting experience, with some supervisory experience.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Experience working in a private equity-held environment, particularly in the healthcare-services sector.
- Familiarity with partnership accounting and/or accounting for multi-level entity organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics ERP products (e.g., Navision or Great Plains).
- Experience with Workday consolidation software.
