ROLE OVERVIEW

The People Coordinator is responsible for providing general administrative People & Culture support, assisting with the recruiting and hiring processes, scheduling and conducting new hire orientations, assisting our training program, and maintaining our HRIS database.

The People Coordinator serves in a hands-on role providing outstanding service and support to our People & Culture department and all team members. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about making things better for our organization and team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform administrative work, data entry, and maintain the integrity of all data in our HRIS platform
  • Assist with the administration of policies and procedures
  • Respond to all team member inquiries and requests related to policies, benefits, and other employment related matters
  • Complete onboarding and offboarding processes for team members, including paperwork, new hire induction, and offboarding
  • Ensure new hires are enrolled in benefits and assist team members with benefits enrollment and provide first level support during qualifying life events
  • Help maintain accurate employment records and files, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Work with the Payroll team to ensure all timecards, PTO requests, and any other related tasks are completed to process payroll
  • Ensure new hire I-9 compliance and maintenance of current team member I-9’s
  • Process new hire, transfer, promotion, and termination paperwork with absolute accuracy for reporting purposes
  • Provide various tracking and reporting as requested by the Head of People & Culture
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on timekeeping system and provide training to functional users
  • Respond to a wide range of team member questions and|or direct team members to the proper resources
  • Provide policy and procedure guidance
  • Provide feedback and updates as needed to Leadership
  • Participate in People & Culture projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing team member engagement, improving processes, and driving organizational effectiveness
  • Values and considers the perspectives and backgrounds of all parties
  • Effectively leverages and builds relationships with key stakeholders and community
  • Direction is provided for assignments in terms of desired outcome (goals), timing and budget

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Two or more years of People & Culture experience with preferred full-employee-life-cycle experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • The ideal candidate works well independently with support from corporate and thrives in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, juggling multiple priorities with speed and accuracy
  • Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (WORD, EXCEL AND POWERPOINT) and G-Suite
  • Human Resources Certification: PHR desired
  • AA|AS Degree in Business or related field is preferred
  • English, additional language(s) an advantage.
  • Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
