Job DetailsWe are seeking an eCommerce Director to take our business to the next level!
Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer. you will oversee e-commerce and digital marketing business including business planning, business operations and strategy, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.
While it would be the preference to have someone located in Georgia, we are also accepting REMOTE candidates as well. There will be monthly on-site meetings.
Specifically, you will
- Create, maintain, and communicate the E-commerce product strategy and roadmap with key stakeholders.
- Achieves targeted sales plans, aligns on key KPIs to deliver the financial goals for the business and manages those KPIs in support of the operating plan. Sets goals for the business in alignment with the Company's strategy and prepares a plan to meet or exceed goals.
- Identifies e-commerce site features based on strategic priorities, industry experience, customer feedback, and marketplace research and implements with cross functional team.
- Participates in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the e-commerce strategy.
- Creates product (website) testing and features roadmap with the end goal of constantly increasing conversion, cart size, AOV, and revenue.
- Manage e-commerce accounts in their sales efforts by recommending online merchandising, product advertising, online retail markets, and new product placement.
- Manages the user experience of the website including site investigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns, order fulfillment, collections, customer service and after sale service.
- Manages and draws conclusions from all aspects of web analytics related to e-commerce and communicates relevant information to executive leadership.
- As the e-commerce business grows, identifies requirements, builds and directs a cohesive team of internal and external personnel to effectively develop e-commerce solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Business, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in Direct-to-Consumer E-Commerce including business operations.
- Experience in Shopify, Yotpo, Klavio, and Netsuite a strong plus
- Experience working in gourmet food, beauty or other consumer goods a plus
- Familiarity with P&L Management and budgeting processes and influencers preferred
- Knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics
