Our highly trained staff create individualized, comprehensive and robust treatment plans designed to meet each client’s treatment goals.

At High Focus Centers in Branchburg we are currently seeking a Licensed Counselor to join our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals providing Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment services to our co-occurring adolescent clients.

Responsibilities :

• Assist individuals in establishing necessary connections with available supports in the community that willfacilitate initiation and on-going engagement in the recovery process.
• Assists individuals in developing and solidifying long-term recovery supports, and providing services before,during, and following an individual’s engagement in the treatment continuum.
• Provides opportunities for individuals to direct their own recovery plan and supports, build self-worth,wellness, empowerment, and self-advocacy.

Work with the individual’s family, service and treatmentproviders, other programs, and community supports to assist in achievement of these goals.

• Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues and otherstaff.
• Performs individual and process group therapy sessions under the direction of the treatment supervisorincluding preparing materials for sessions.
• Manages client files.
• Communicates with referral sources and company representatives.
• Attends treatment team meetings with psychiatrist and staff.
• Participates in community meetings with clients.
• Completes family sessions as necessary.
• Prepares utilization reviews with appropriate funding sources as needed
• Attends trainings as necessary.
• Maintains client caseload daily.
• Clerical duties as required for maintenance of client files.
• Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatment.
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience :

1) A Master’s Degree in a human services area.

2) OR a Bachelor’s Degree in a human services area with 1 year of work experience in the human services field.
