The Willows (Fletcher, NC) at Red Oak Recovery is located in the beautiful rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside of Asheville N.C. We are a clinically dynamic, trauma intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment program designed specifically for the unique needs of young adult women, ages 18-35. Our focus is on clinical care, and we utilize the latest research-supported clinical modalities to ensure positive outcomes. We are seeking a Milieu Therapist who will run groups for clients as well as provide one on one sessions while being part of the treatment team and assist in the development and execution of the treatment plan for clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide group therapy for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders including but not limited to assessment, group therapy, client education, all of which will be reflected by accurate record keeping
• Support Primary Therapists in coverage for groups, individual sessions, intake, assessments, and case management as needed
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients
• Provide direct support and clinical interventions in the milieu
• Provide clinical check-ins with clients on an as-needed and/or regular basis
• Produce documentation including progress notes and other records in a timely manner
• Work in collaboration with other professionals as part of a treatment team by attending meetings and keeping up with internal communication
• Work in collaboration with other professionals as part of a treatment team
• Participate in weekly rotation of on-call including crisis management and clinical application review
• Follow and meet established clinical and programmatic standards
• Participate in clinical training to Recovery Guides, family workshops, clinical projects and other clinical trainings if needed
• Conduct self in professional and ethical manner
• Complete all requirements to maintain licensure

• $62,000.00 - $75,000.00

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in human service field
• LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCAS, or pursuing licensure
• Experience in facilitating group therapy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Dually licensed in both addiction and mental health (or willing to seek both)
• Experience working with young adults in a therapeutic setting
• Willing to complete requirements for licensure within 75 days of start date
