Washington State Parks is current seeking an experienced Privacy Officer -Management Analyst 5 position at Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission Headquarters in Tumwater, WA.

The Privacy Officer will partner closely with agency divisions to develop department and organizational goals that align with the Commission goals and Agency Strategic Plan. The position contributes to Parks' mission by fostering public confidence through transparency, improve efficiency, safeguard confidential information and maintain compliance.
The duty station for this position is Parks Headquarters located in Tumwater, WA. The schedule for this position is traditionally Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (An alternate schedule or flexible remote work up to 3 days per week may be approved as long as Agency and/or customer needs are still able to be met.)

** Additional relevant work experience in analyzing, interpreting, and applying rules, laws and case law related to privacy and confidentiality will substitute year-for-year for education.
