We are looking for a motivated worker to join our meat department. The ideal candidate will have meat department and/or kitchen experience, a good work ethic and a good attitude. This is a Full Time position, most shifts going from 7 AM- 3 PM, 5 days a week. We offer competitive pay DOE and a full benefits package including paid time off, paid holidays and 401k match. Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, professional customer service; recommend and suggest products
• Assist customers with item location and general store questions
• Rotate and stock meat and seafood items, wipe shelves and rewrap leaky packages
• Use wrap station, weigh, and price items according to standards
• Keep work area and sales floor clutter free and organized
• Ensure department cleanliness, sanitation, & safety standards are met
• Ensure accuracy of priced items
• Work safely and effectively with kitchen knives; cut chicken and fish
• Check incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, freshness, and quality.
• Rotate and stock deliveries
• Place orders as needed
• Participate in team meetings
• Abide by company policies and procedures
• Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age
• Possession of valid FOOD HANDLER PERMIT
• Previous experience in food industry is preferred
• Weekend availability
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Extensive knowledge and passion for fresh ingredients is preferred
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Full body motion (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching)
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. regularly

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
