Job Description :

• The Patient Registration Associate will work within a Peds / Family Medicine practice in Towson, Maryland.
• Will be situated at the front desk and will be responsible for checking patients in and out.
• Answer inbound phone calls, and provide friendly customer service.
• Obtain prior authorizations and verify insurance for patients prior to appointments, procedures, and check-ups.
• Will call provider offices / hospitals to obtain pre-op results and other medical records.
• Will be utilizing EPIC software to schedule patients.
• Candidates must be very knowledgeable in insurance companies and the process.
• This is a full-time, contract job opportunity with benefits.

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Epic EMR experience is highly preferred!
• Must have at least 2 years experience working as a Med Sec / Scheduling Role within a hospital or high volume medical clinic.
