Role Description
Limitless Land Services, LLC is looking for an Acquisition Agent located in the Midwestern US area. The project is long term, for an established client and is currently active.
An agent located within the Midwest (MI, OH, IN, IL, MN) would be preferred, but also open to the surrounding area. The agent will be responsible for identifying potential landowners, developing relationships, and negotiating lease agreements for renewable energy projects.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, negotiation and organization skills with expertise in navigating local and state regulations.
Must be organized, able to stay on task and able to think outside the box. The agent will also conduct onsite visits and work closely with landowners to negotiate lease agreements and facilitate payment.
Background check and qualified references able to provide past project success required.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in acquisition roles, preferably in renewable energy, oil and gas midstream or real estate industries
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge about local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines pertaining to solar and wind energy projects
- Able and willing to travel to remote areas
- Knowledge of GIS and mapping is preferred, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software
