Patient Access Specialist

Thomasville, AL

Position: Non-Exempt

Shift: Days/Nights/Various shifts

Schedule: Full-time/Part-time/PRN

The Patient Access Specialist role is to complete the required process for the registration of patients receiving treatment in the hospital. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; and prior hospital registration or related business experience is preferred. A working knowledge of medical terminology is also preferred. The position is responsible to the Manager of Revenue Cycle.
