The Echocardiography Technician performs diagnostic imaging of the heart using ultrasound devices and other imaging tools and records them for permanent record in keeping with the policies and procedures of the Department and TRMC. The Echo Tech must graduate with a two-year degree in diagnostic medical sonography from an ARDMS accredited program with a certificate in echocardiography. Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). BLS, required. The position is responsible to Manager of Imaging and Radiology.
