Our Swing Bed Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the admission and discharge of swing bed patients, MDS assessments, orienting patients to the facility, offering community resources and reporting activity appropriately. Monitors use of the skilled swing bed program for compliance with Medicare regulations. Current RN License in State of Alabama. Hold an Associate or bachelor’s degree in Nursing. MDS experience and knowledge of Swing Bed Programs, Utilization Review, and Discharge Planning, required. The position is responsible to the Director of Nursing.
