We are currently seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in League City, Texas. This role will primarily focus on a range of accounting tasks such as month-end closing activities, assisting with ERP implementation, and preparing monthly financial reports. You will also be required to provide support during annual audits and assist with tax renditions as needed.Responsibilities: • Handle all month-end closing activities including journal entries, accruals, time allocations, and cost accounting• Assist in the implementation of ERP systems• Ensure the completion and review of all balance sheet reconciliations• Prepare and distribute monthly management financial reports • Provide necessary support during annual audits • Handle various ad-hoc requests as needed• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure proper segregation of duties and reviews• Assist with Federal Excise Tax and State/Local Property Tax Renditions as necessary• Use software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite for various tasks• Apply skills such as Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations to daily tasks.
