We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in Texas City, Texas. The Controller will be instrumental in managing and improving our organization's financial performance and direct accounting operations. They will supervise accounting staff and manage accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, and budget processes. Responsibilities:• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for financial operations • Ensure DCAA compliance and use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business processes• Implement ERP Solutions for business management• Manage Accounting Functions, ensuring accuracy and productivity• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely and accurate processing• Conduct Auditing to ensure compliance with standards and regulations• Manage Budget Processes, including the preparation, review, and approval of budgets• Implement and monitor financial controls, ensuring the organization’s systems are compliant, efficient, and effective.
