Apogee is seeking an Acquisition Analyst located at MacDill AFB, FL in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics’ (SOF AT&L) Acquisition Operations (AO) Partnered Operations Directorate (12XX). What you will be doing:

• Collect and analyze requirements from supported organizations
• Develop elements of program acquisition strategies
• Support/conduct portions of market research
• Keep program information current and organized to submit to management for decision-making
• Prepare reports and briefings on program status, policies, and procedures in support of acquisition program milestones
• Support cost/benefit analysis
• Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the program; develop recommendations to improve program operations
• Answer data calls and inquiries on program policies and procedures
• Participate in the requirements development process in support of Senior Managers and Government counterparts
• Monitor programs to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Manage program cost, schedule, performance, and risks under policies and procedures; formulate proposed mitigations as necessary
• Interpret regulations and directives to determine the impact on programs

Experience:

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship:Must be a US citizen

Clearance:Must have and be able to maintain a TS clearance with SCI Eligibility

Certifications:DAWIA Practitioner (formerly Level II) Equivalency in Program Management

Education:Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

Years of Experience:5 years of experience supporting a DoD acquisition agency

• 2 years of security cooperation experience
• Working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System as directed by DoD Instruction 5000.02, “Operation of the Defense Acquisition System”
• Working knowledge of project management/scheduling software applications such as MS Project
• Experience with task management systems, proficient in building executive-level briefings, and able to apply acquisition experience to formulation and consolidation of official responses to taskers, RFIs, etc.

Preferred Experience:

Education and Experience: Master's degree in Business or Acquisition and 3 years of experience supporting a DoD acquisition agency

• Defense Security Cooperation Agency Certification in Security Management
• Experience with Partnered Operations internal and external stakeholder organizations
