James Moore & Co., P.L. is searching for a Human Resources Coordinator that will be responsible for serving within our Human Resources Department.

What you will do in this Human Resources Coordinator role:

  • You will use your knowledge and skills to provide administrative support and services to the HR team
  • You'll work within HRIS platforms to perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs such as benefits administration, employee onboarding and processing of terminations
  • You'll assist with day-to-day HR department activities such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records and information, answering employee questions, and more
  • You'll use your knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports, spreadsheets, letters, documents and other correspondence as needed
  • You'll answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
  • You'll administer new hire onboarding and orientation
  • You'll coordinate the Firm's Service Recognition Program
  • You'll coordinate the Firm's Wellness Program
  • You'll support other assigned functions and duties as assigned

What you'll bring to the table:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, human resources or related program is required. Additional work experience may be substituted for a degree
  • 2 years of experience in human resources or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local employment law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently balance competing priorities & work under tight deadlines
  • Self-starter, resourceful with a creative and innovative mindset
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and motivated
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Team player who quickly builds trust and collaborative working relationships
