Payroll Specialist

In this role, you will have the opportunity to process multi-state and union payroll start to finish, upskill in other areas of accounting, and assist with onboarding duties.

Responsibilities
Process weekly start to finish multi-state and union payroll
Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations as needed
Assist with clerical accounting duties including data entry, payables, and receivables
Assist with employee onboarding and complete data entry tasks for employee records
Ad-hoc duties as the department may require
Qualifications
3 years of full cycle payroll processing (preferably in the construction industry)
2 years processing union and multi-state payroll start to finish
Education
Bachelor’s degree or Associate of Arts degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required
Skills
Experienced in processing start-to-finish payroll
Working knowledge of multi-state payroll
Working knowledge or union agreements
Working knowledge of payroll tax
Proficient in 10-key data entry
Experience in clerical accounting is a plus!

Job Type : Full Time, Direct Hire, 40 hours per week
Pay Details : $70, to $80, per year
