Greetings! LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly proficient Patient Registration Specialist to join one of their excellent healthcare organizations located in based in the Kansas City area!

Note : This position will float between numerous medical office locations throughout the Kansas City Metro Area.

What You'll Be Doing

Greet patients and confirm demographic, financial, and clinical information with them.

Assist patients with the check-in and check-out process during their visit.

Confirm and verify patient insurance information for durable medical equipment (DME).

Process medical billing information for both commercial and government payors.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of medical office experience required.

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required.

Minimum 1 year experience with electronic health / medical record systems (NextGen and / or OnBase) required.

Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance / billing regulations required.

Work hours : 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM M-F

Job Type : Contract-to-hire and Full-time (40 hrs / wk)
