Ultimate Staffing is currently recruiting for a motivated and service-driven HelpDesk Technician I to join the IT support team for one of our premier clients.

This entry-level role is centered in Sunrise, Florida, and is pivotal in delivering essential technical support for computer systems, hardware, and software issues.

The selected candidate will be a crucial player in troubleshooting and ensuring systems operate smoothly to enhance user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Address initial inquiries regarding technical problems and provide solutions.
• Act as the primary contact for users seeking help in person, over the phone, or via email.
• Conduct remote troubleshooting using diagnostic approaches and targeted questions.
• Assess issues based on customer descriptions to identify effective resolutions.
• Guide users through steps to resolve problems, maintaining clear communication throughout.
• Refer complex problems to advanced support teams.
• Install, configure, and manage various hardware such as laptops, desktop computers, printers, and security cameras.
• Conduct fundamental network troubleshooting and assist with network installations and wiring as needed.
• Keep customers updated on the status of their issues and collect any feedback to forward to relevant internal teams.

Requirements :

• A high school diploma is essential; further education or certifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields are advantageous.
• Demonstrated capability in a help desk or customer support role.
• Proficiency in office software, databases, and remote access tools.
• A solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technological equipment.
• Skilled in identifying and solving fundamental technical issues.
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
