Spherion is Hiring a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Near Sumterville, FL
Spherion Staffing and Recruiting has an opening for a Customer Service Representative to join our clients manufacturing plant located in Sumterville. This is a temp-to-hire position. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the pay rate is $18 per hour.
The ideal candidate will handle order entry, answer phone calls, respond to client correspondence, process shipments, and perform general office duties. This role is crucial in ensuring our customers receive timely and accurate information and support.
ResponsibilitiesWill have responsibility to answer phone calls and respond to requests from external and internal customers.
Will provide all necessary guidance to newer Team Members.
- Promptly print purchase orders and respond to emails ensuring all purchase orders are accounted for and emails are responded to in a timely manner.
- Enter orders accurately and provide confirmation within four hours after arrival of each order, whether received via online, email, fax or phone.
- Verification of purchase order requested to ship.
- Verification total load is within weight requirements/guidelines.
- Resolve any discrepancies prior to driver leaving the yard.
- All required trucking information is entered on all bills of lading.
Skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and complete them in a timely manner.
Experience1-4 years
Qualifications
- Must be PC and software literate to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Salesforce.
- Must have the ability to learn and understand ERP system.
- 1 to 3 years of exemplary service as a Customer Satisfaction Specialist or an inter-company transfer with related experience and/or training.
- Must possess the communication skills, both verbal and written needed to relay information to customers and other employees in a professional, positive and constructive manner.
- Must work harmoniously with all personnel, including all other departments, and follow all company rules, regulations and procedures associated with professional sales/marketing methods and requirements.
