Boulder Excavation, LLC is Hiring an Equipment Operator Near Stowe, VT
EXPERIENCE: 5 to 10 Years Preferred
WAGE RANGE: $25.00 to $35.00 Dependent on Experience
WORK WEEK: Typically 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
OVERTIME: Available at 1.5x
TERM: Seasonal, with opportunity for Year Round for the right candidate
BENEFITS: Cell Phone and Truck (after probationary period)
Boulder Excavation is looking to hire for the position of Equipment Operator. In this roll, you will be expected to take direction from the Owner of the company, and work independently on a job site. Part of the responsibility of this roll is leadership and efficient direction of a helper employee.
Applicants will be expected to be proficient with operation and the field maintenance of Excavators, Dozers, Skid Steers, Track Trucks and Laser Transit Systems.
Our standards for work will be clearly communicated to you. The expectation is that you will be able to execute these instructions accurately and in a timely fashion, and that you will ask questions when necessary in order to ensure a high quality work product.
Strong applicants will have the ability to read blue prints and understand their meaning as related to excavation work. Familiarity with other trades such as carpentry, masonry and utility service will count favorably.
Class A CDL and ability to move equipment with a truck and trailer is preferred but not necessary for this position.
All Boulder Excavation employees are expected to reflect the highest level of professionalism and service to our Clients. You will be in direct contact with property owners, general contractors and and partnered property management companies. Presenting yourself well is absolutely vital as you will be a direct representation of our brand to our customers.
A means of dependable, personal transportation from your home to our shop is a requirement.
Drug testing is standard practice here at Boulder Excavation. Applicant will need to pass a screening for employment, and can expect random drug testing throughout employment in accordance with labor laws.
