We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions. HR Specialist responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies, and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full-cycle recruiting and solid knowledge. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.
Recruitment and onboarding of employees: creating job requisitions, coordinating offers, pre-employment activities, onboarding, and applicable OFCCP reporting.
π Generate necessary reports for payroll and HR. Coordinate all HR-related documents for job/employee status changes for employees.
π Plan, coordinate, and facilitate various training programs in compliance with OSHA regulations and standards.
π Maintain proper documentation and assist with employee relations issues and vendor/supplier communication.
π Conduct new hire orientation and ensure rules, regulations, and CBA information are reviewed and understood.
π Assist with employee recognition programs.
π Participate in various aspects of safety, including participating in safety audits, delivery of training programs, conducting job safety analysis, and identification and reconciliation of root cause of safety incidents.
π Compile and analyze monthly and annual statistics. Prepare and distribute various reports.
π Assist the HR Manager with Community Engagement activities and other corporate initiatives.
π Perform other duties as assigned.

β Occasionally operate business machines
β While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
β Ability to read and concentrate via computer data entry typing and proofreading
Technical knowledge/skills:
β Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite
β Familiar with standard HR concepts, practices, and procedures
β Familiar with and proficient in navigation of HRIS and other related systems (Workday, ATS, ADP, eTime, PeopleSoft, ArcPlan, Aspen, or related)
β Familiar with standard Manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures
β Intermediate knowledge of employment law
β Exposure to OSHA reporting, regulations, and compliance

β Solid verbal and written communication skills
β Strong time management & prioritization skills
β Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
β Advanced verbal and written communication skills that can be utilized in day-to-day interactions with all levels of the workforce
Education/Experience:
β A Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
β 3 years of demonstrated HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
