Job Description:
  • Assist the executive and senior management teams in preparing contracts as well as oversee the contracts signe by ompany
  • Manage and track CenCore;s Non-Discloure Agreements (NDA's), Teaming Agreements (TA's), Prime Contracts, Subcontracts, and other contract vehicles
  • Review potential contracts and assist the leadership team in understanding the details in the contracts
  • Work with when to escalate a complex/potentially onerous contract term to either the leadership team or the company's legal counsel
  • Assist the leadership tea and the company's legal counsel in drafting contracts to be signed by the company
  • Assist the leadership team in assuring that the contract clauses are followed by both the parties
  • Identify and suggest potential revisions in contract documents, specifically when the existing clauses would be harmful to the company.

  • Provides necessary advice to the contracts' stakeholders who are responsible to meet the requirements of the contracts
  • Maintain documented reports in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 documentation standards
Job Requirements:
  • Great verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships within the company and with our external business partners
  • Curious to learn about unfamiliar topics and to expand your roll as needed
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), Davis Bacon Act (DBA), and the Service Contracts Act (SCA)
  • Sound knowledge of the legal issues involc=ved in the contracts
  • Unwavering attention to details, analytical/critical thinking, and a keen eye to search and identify potential flaws in contracts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign management
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign management
  • Proficiency in MPO and the Acquisition Resource Center
  • Proficiency in using Deltek Costpoint as a contract management software
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and deliver tasks on time and as close to final as possible
  • At least two (2) years contract management experience required
  • Legally authorized to work full-time on a permanent basis in the United States
  • Paralegal or related field Associate's degree required, Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
  • Contracting I Certificate under Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) or commercial equivalent (i.e. FAC-C) a plus
