We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in White Springs, Florida. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be part of a team that is responsible for providing financial and operations accounting expertise to support plant accounting functions. This role is critical for improving month-end close processes, verifying the proper accumulation of product flows, and performing raw material and finished product cost accounting. Responsibilities:• Become a subject matter expert for processes and complex agreements within the role• Participate in automation and process improvement projects• Verify the proper accumulation of product flows through our production areas and verification of month-end accumulations and reporting• Perform raw material and finished product cost accounting• Understand, identify and implement required internal controls, including certification reporting, audit responses and SOX controls• Participate in the physical asset verification process• Ensure Balance Sheet Accounts are effectively analyzed and managed• Complete Capital Project and Fixed Asset Accounting• Complete projects accounting• Perform ARO analysis and accounting• Analyze and prepare journals related to pre-strip accounting• Prepare high-risk account reconciliations• Prepare high-risk journal entriesSkills:• Proficient in General Ledger • Expertise in Manufacturing Cost Accounting • Knowledgeable in Fixed Asset Inventory • Skilled in Inventory Analysis • Expertise in Account Reconciliation • Proficient in Journal Entries • Proficiency in Oracle software
