We are seeking a passionate Dental Hygienist who is eager to contribute to Diamond Braces mission of providing Affordable and Accessible care with Amazing service. The RDH will assist the treating orthodontist with clinical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care within the scope of licensure. You will contribute directly to the seamless operations of our dental practice and ensure a high-level of patient care and customer service.
This position is full-time and may require late evening and weekend shifts. This position requires an individual to be available for an on-call schedule.

Essential Functions

• Performs sterilization procedures with meticulous attention to protocols, enhancing patient safety and well-being
• Prepares dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines
• Obtains diagnostic records ordered by a licensed dentist including intra-oral and scans/photos
• Prepares tray set-ups for dental procedures
• Provides patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist including polishing with rotary instruments
• Creates entries in patients' medical records as directed by the treating dentist
• Provides patient education including care instructions
• Performs basic dental lab duties including the fabrication of Essix retainers
• Prepares and documents lab cases ensuring timely delivery
• Must complete assigned educational courses in a timely manner
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties to support the team in delivering an exceptional patient experience

• Registered Dental Hygienist
• Associate Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Valid Dental Hygiene License in NYS
• Dental Hygienist Limited Permit
• Associate Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Dental Hygiene Limited Permit on pathway to full licensure in NYS
