Ourcompany has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven andexperienced individual to perform various clerical duties and accountingfunctions as determined by the Office Manager.
***Someaccounting knowledge is required for consideration of this position.***
JobResponsibilities
- PerformsA/P and/or A/R functions, deposits, cash receipts, billing, etc.
- Coordinatesmonth-end and quarterly accounting reviews
- Preparesdaily inventory and units sold reports
- Updatesclient records as needed
- Verifiesdata, completes state forms, makes disbursement for taxes and fees, and submitsto the state
- Processesnew car and pre-owned registrations on dealer's software system
- Processespre-owned vehicle title transfers
- Preparesand distributes title envelopes
- Maintainsfollow-up on all incoming titles
- Maintainsand reconciles schedules for tax, title and license payable and lien payoffs
- Processespayoffs on trade-ins and floor plan, pulls contracts and forwards to financialinstitutions
- Verifiesfinance and insurance (F&I) data to documents
- Reconcilesinventory schedules as assigned on a weekly and monthly basis
- Processesrebates
- Attendsdepartment meetings
- Providessupport to Office Manager
Requirements
Educationand/or Experience
- Automotivedealership experience preferred but not required
- Accountingknowledge required (college degree and/or work experience)
- CurrentNotary Public commission preferred
