Maintenance Technician / Ticket Runner

The Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance duties, while working with team members in maintaining the physical integrity, make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects for the apartment community. Strives to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and anyone else working or visiting the property. Reports to the Community Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Diagnose and perform minor, routine maintenance and repairs.
- Appliances
- Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings
- Interior/exterior lights
- Doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors
- Boiler, gas and electric
- Locks
- Pool areas, pool furniture
- Electrical and plumbing (including water lines)
- Assist with A/C and heating systems
Performs all needed repairs and services. Assist make-ready staff, as required to meet deadlines. Report all needs and major repair requisitions to Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Maintain status of parts and supplies inventory and inform Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager of items.
Perform any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements
HVAC
General apartment maintenance experience
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance
Valid Driver's License
