Position: Residential Plumbing Sales Manager

Location: San Mateo, CA

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the residential plumbing sector.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of residential plumbing sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure their success.
• Establish and maintain relationships with residential builders, contractors, developers, and homeowners to generate new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to drive sales leads and increase brand awareness.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, estimates, and contracts to clients, negotiating terms and closing sales agreements.
• Monitor sales performance, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed recommendations and solutions to customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential plumbing sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Previous experience in a sales leadership or management role, with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to success.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing products, services, and installation techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding sales goals.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales management tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
