Bookkeeper
Royal Coach Tours is an award-winning, family-owned transportation company with over 60 years in the transportation business. Winners of multiple safety and maintenance awards, Royal Coach Tours was also recently voted as the Operator of the Year by the International Motorcoach Group (IMG). We are hiring a full-time Bookkeeper for our head office in San Jose, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage/ Account Reconciliation
- Perform partial checks of the posting process.
- Complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
- Process accounts receivable/payable
- Generates financial reports
- Vendor/ Client/ Employee interaction
- Assists with phones
Requirements
- Must have 3-5 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper, meaning full cycle bookkeeping from data entry to bank and G/L reconciliation
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Prior bookkeeping experience
- Must have QuickBooks desktop and online experience
- MS Excel high proficiency
- Strong communication and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently, ability to multitask, ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure deadline-driven environment
- Ability to speak/ read/ write English

- Pay Range $29 - $32 per hour/ Depending on Experience
