Summary
Assembles moderately complex electronic components, sub-assemblies, products, or systems by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Reads moderately complex work orders, follows moderately complex Production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in fixture, or other holding device.
- Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Mounts components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on printed circuit boards.
- Mounts assembled components on upper-level assemblies.
- Performs basic soldering as it applies to Mechanical Assembly.
- Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies.
- Maintains department specific records.
- Works with minimal supervision from the Production Department Supervisor.
- Is consistently at work and on time. Must adhere to company specified work schedule.
- Other duties may be assigned.
